Picture book - “The Cat in the Hat” by Dr.
Seuss
Dr. Seuss’ famous children’s book, the cat
in the hat is an interesting book due to the unique writing style and dynamic rhyming
schemes used by the author. Dr. Seuss, which is the pseudonym created by
Theodore Geisel who pays respect to Dr. Sigmund Freud within this book by
simplifying his concepts on the dynamics of the human psyche to be easily
understood by a younger audience. The choice of words and poetry used by Dr.
Seuss within this book is equally impressive.
