Picture book - “The Gruffalo” by Julia

The author of this fantastic children’s
book, Julia Donaldson has created an amazing story with such a strong rhythm
and rhyme that is ideal for children between the ages of 4 and 6 as it just
begs to be read aloud. With the added illustrations by Axel Scheffler that are
filled with outstanding detail, bold colours and appealing characters to the
young audience. Along with the illustrations and rhythm throughout the book, it
is also ideal to be read aloud to young children because of the repetition
throughout which can encourage the young audience to sing along and participate
in the telling of the story by helping the reader.
